Couples Therapy
Every couple faces challenges.
Are you and your partner feeling stuck, struggling to communicate, or carrying the weight of unresolved conflict in your relationship? Maybe you’re here because it feels like you’re walking on eggshells and constantly on guard for the next argument. Perhaps you’ve tried having the hard conversations and keep getting stuck and shut down.
Or maybe it’s mostly good, with only the occasional bump in the road. You don’t have to be in crisis to start couples therapy. Even in the early days of a partnership, patterns start to form. Maybe you’re afraid some of the same old patterns from past relationships might show up here, too.
Whether you’re hoping to build a strong foundation, work through serious challenges, or simply needing a safe space to feel supported, you’re at the right place.
My Therapeutic Approach
I work from an evidence-based couples therapy approach called Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT/EFCT). EFT applies attachment theory and neuroscience and uncovers the root of the issue, promoting resilience within yourself and within your relationship.
Together, we will:
Get curious and understand the current cycle that keeps you stuck and disconnected from each other.
Experience a new way of communicating with each other that promotes deep connection and understanding.
Address old wounds & rebuild trust.
